Welcome to the Slater Family web site. If you are a Slater you may find the content interesting. Depending on which part of the world of families which bear our name you may discover links to your part of lineage.

I hope you enjoy your browse through the centuries and if you have anything you wish to add please contact Webmaster who will be pleased to add any relevant content.

My grateful thanks to all those who have contributed to the site and in particular to David Slater of Kingswinford for his painstaking and diligent research which produced the bulk of the material on the family tree history.

This is a "work in progress site" - it will be enhanced and supplemented as material becomes available. I hope The Family will look after it and ensure that as the decades and centuries progress it will be kept up-to-date and become a detailed record of family life in the centuries to come.

It is my privilege to make the first step in development and maintenance.

Graham Slater
